Buckland River (Victoria)
The Buckland River is a river in north eastern Victoria, Australia. With its source in the Victorian Alps, it reaches a confluence with the Ovens River immediately downstream from the small town of Porepunkah. During the Victorian gold rush of the 1850s the Buckland Valley was home to several thousand Chinese miners.

Porepunkah is a town in north east Victoria, Australia. The town is located on the Great Alpine Road, at the foot of Mount Buffalo 320 kilometres north east of the state capital, Melbourne and 5 kilometres north west of Bright. Part of Alpine Shire local government area and situated on the banks of the Ovens River, near the Buckland River junction. At the 2006 census, Porepunkah had a population of 589. The town is named for the Hindu word for "gentle breeze".

Bright railway station
Bright is the closed terminus station of the closed Bright line which served the town of Bright in Victoria (Australia). The former terminus retains a large brick station building and a goods shed. The station platform is still intact with a number of items of rolling stock sitting on a short section of track fenced in with the station. The station building and grounds are maintained as a local museum.
