Kernot railway station

Kernot was a railway station on the Wonthaggi line located on the Bass Coast, Victoria, the station operated until the closure of the Wonthaggi line in the late 1970s. The station was located within walking distance of the Kernot General Store. The retaining wall from the stations platform is still in fairly good condition and the level crossing on the nearby main road is still visible.

Jumbunna, Victoria

Jumbunna is a town in South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. The name is taken from the eastern Kulin language of the Bunnerong tribe and means "a place to meet and talk". Today the community of Jumbunna consists of 13 houses and about 30 residents in the township and 29 houses and 50 residents in the surrounding rural area. Farming (mainly in fat lamb, beef and dairy industries) continues and is now complemented by a diverse range of small businesses.

Almurta railway station

Almurta was a railway station on the Wonthaggi line located on the Bass Coast, Victoria, the station operated until the closure of the Wonthaggi line in the late 1970s. The retaining wall from the stations platform is in poor condition however a nearby trestle bridge is still intact.

Woodleigh railway station

Woodleigh was a railway station on the Wonthaggi line in South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia, the station operated until the closure of the Wonthaggi line in the late 1970s. All that remains of Woodleigh Station now is the upright supports for the platform retaining wall. The station building is now the entrance to 'Coal Creek' Tourist center in Korumburra Victoria.

Almurta, Victoria

Almurta is a small town in Victoria, Australia. It is located along Glen Alvie Road, in the Bass Coast Shire, 107 kilometres south east of Melbourne. A full Post Office opened here on 21 April 1914 but was closed in 1969.
