Elaine, Victoria
Elaine is a town in Victoria, Australia, located on the Midland Highway between Ballarat and Geelong. At the 2006 census, Elaine and the surrounding area had a population of 677. The railway came to the town with the opening of the Geelong-Ballarat line in 1862, with the local railway station opened soon after, but today only grain and freight trains use the line. The Post Office opened on 1 March 1859 as Mount Doran and was renamed Elaine in 1872.

Meredith is a closed railway station on the Geelong–Ballarat railway line located in the township of Meredith, Victoria, Australia. The station has a crossing loop while the station building is fenced off from the platform and is in private ownership. Although there are no V/Line trains serving the stations, a number of coach services stop in the township.

Mount Mercer, Victoria
Mount Mercer is a town in the Western District of the Australian state of Victoria. It is named after a nearby scoria cone with crater. The scoria cone was developed on a broad lava shield and the rim of the cone is asymmetric, being higher around the south and open towards the north. The scoria cone is approximately 400m in diameter and of circular shape. It is sufficiently enclosed to contain a swamp and has been partly excavated for a reservoir.
