It is only two kilometres from Wandong station, an oddity on the Victorian country railway network. Wandong is a town in Victoria, Australia. The town is about 50 kilometres north of the state capital, Melbourne, on the Hume Highway. It adjoins the town of Heathcote Junction, and at the 2006 census, the two towns had a population of 1,490. The main centre nearest Wandong is Kilmore. Wandong Post Office opened on 9 October 1876. The town has its own railway station on the Albury-Wodonga and Shepparton railway lines.
