The station is located east of the Main Street level crossing and is 66 km from Southern Cross Station. This station was once manned, with the previous station buildings being removed in November 2007. A former work camp area is located next to this station. Bairnsdale-bound trains do not stop at Nar Nar Goon, however a weekly Sunday service to Sale does stop.
