Thorpdale, Victoria
Thorpdale is a small country town in the Gippsland area of eastern Victoria, Australia, less than 20 km south of Trafalgar. Famous for its potatoes, it is located amongst the rich farmland of the Latrobe Valley. Thorpdale spuds are eaten around the country and also exported overseas. The name "Thorpdale" means "village in a valley". The soil in the area is particularly rich as the town is located in a former volcanic crater. It is administered by the Shire of Baw Baw.

Trafalgar is a railway station on the Bairnsdale V/Line rail service in Trafalgar, Victoria, Australia. The station is located east of the Mirboo North-Trafalgar Road level crossing and is 120 km from Southern Cross station. It is located in the zone 8 and 9 overlap of the Myki ticketing system. A disused goods shed and platform formerly existed behind the Down platform, however, were removed in 2004 by the current land owners, Reid Stockfeeds.

Trafalgar is a town in the West Gippsland region of Victoria, Australia. The town lies on the Princes Highway and main Gippsland railway line about 10 kilometres west of Moe. The town backs onto the foothills of the Strzelecki Ranges to the south. The township sits at approximately 70 metres above sea level. At the 2006 census, Trafalgar had a population of 2685. Trafalgar Post Office opened on 2 June 1879. Trafalgar was noted for having a cheese factory producing award-winning cheeses.
