Ajana, Western Australia

Ajana (also known as Barrel Well) is a small Aboriginal community in Western Australia. It is located on the Ajana Back Road, 531 kilometres north-west of Perth in the Mid West Region. The name Ajana is Aboriginal in origin and is thought either to be the Nanda name for the area or to be derived from a similar word meaning "mine".

Principality of Hutt River

The Principality of Hutt River, previously known as the Hutt River Province, is the oldest micronation in Australia. The principality claims to be an independent sovereign state having achieved legal status on 21 April 1972, although it remains unrecognised except by other micronations. The principality is located 517 km (354 mi) north of Perth, near the town of Northampton. If considered independent, it is an enclave of Australia.

Pencell Pool

Pencell Pool is a natural pool on the Murchison River in Mid West Western Australia. It is located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:27|47|S|114|48|E|region:AU-WA_type:waterbody|| |primary |name= }}, on the Coolcalalaya Road about 8 kilometres east of Galena. It is of immense geological interest because it has steep cliffs that contain excellent exposures of Ordovician Tumblagooda sandstone, containing trace fossils of Skolithos and probably Diplocraterion.
