Bremer Bay, Western Australia
Bremer Bay is a coastal town situated on the south coast of Western Australia in the Great Southern region between Albany and Esperance, at the mouth of the Bremer River. Bremer Bay is 515 kilometres southeast of the state capital, Perth, and 180 kilometres east of Albany. The town has a population of about 240. Electricity is generated by a wind-diesel hybrid system. Bremer Bay is known for its beautiful beaches; the main beach is only 10 minutes walk from town.

Wellstead Estuary is an estuarine inlet in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The estuary has length of 13 kilometres and holds a volume of 2,400,000 cubic metres . The inlet covers a total surface area of 4.7 square kilometres with the central basin and barriers covering 2.7 square kilometres and salt marshes and tidal flats covering the remainder of the area.

The river flows in a generally south-easterly direction and the river valley becomes steadily deeper as the river approaches the coast where it has eroded the Pallinup siltstone deposits that deposited over the underlying granite.

Gairdner River is a river located in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The river was first recorded by Surveyor General John Septimus Roe in 1848, when carrying out exploration of the area, noting that natives referred to it and its numerous branches as "Jeer-A-Mung-Up".

Gordon Inlet
Gordon Inlet is an estuarine inlet, located in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia. The inlet is at the south west corner of the Fitzgerald River National Park and approximately 15 kilometres north west of the town of Bremer Bay. The estuary is transient and is quite shallow with a high rate of evaporation so that the estuary often dries out almost completely. The water is saline with salinity levels varying from slightly less than seawater to over four times as saline.
