St Columb Minor

St Columb Minor is a village on the north coast of Cornwall, England, UK. St. Columb alone by default refers to the nearby St. Columb Major. At one time St Columb Minor used to be the main settlement in the area, but it has now been encroached upon by its larger neighbour Newquay. The National School in the Square was built in 1842. It is on the site of the Parsonage and is now used as a Men's Institute.

Newquay A.F.C

Newquay A.F.C. is a football club based in Newquay, Cornwall, in the United Kingdom, nicknamed "The Peppermints". They were the founding members of the South Western League in 1951, and remained there until 2007 when they joined the South West Peninsula League Division One West. After winning the SWPL Div 1 West Title in 2011–12, the first team now play in the SWPL Premier division Their reserves were founder members of the Cornwall Combination in 1959, and have remained there ever since.

Watergate Beach

Watergate Beach is a two-mile-long stretch of sandy beach on the Atlantic coast of north Cornwall, United Kingdom. It is situated in Watergate Bay two miles north of Newquay on the B3276 road to Padstow road near the village of Tregurrian. The beach has toilets, a shop and cafe. It is popular for water sports, especially surfing and also for kite-flying and sand art. In May, 2007, the beach hosted the English National Surfing Championships.

RAF St Mawgan

Royal Air Force Station St Mawgan or more simply RAF St Mawgan is a Royal Air Force station near St Mawgan and Newquay in Cornwall. In 2008 the runway part of the site was handed over to Newquay Airport. The remainder of the station still continues to operate under the command of the RAF. RAF St Mawgan used to have the widest military runway in the UK (300 ft) and is the home for the Cornwall Air Ambulance service.
