Coolup, Western Australia

Coolup is a small town in the Peel region of Western Australia. The town is situated just off the South Western Highway and close to the Murray River. The area was first settled in 1886 and the townsite was gazetted in 1899. The towns name is Indigenous Australian in origin and is thought to mean the place of the wild turkey.

Meelon, Western Australia

Meelon is a small townsite in the Peel region of Western Australia, located between Pinjarra and Dwellingup within the Shire of Murray. At the 2011 census, Meelon had a population of 224. It was originally established as a saw-milling site by the local timber industry in the 1900s and was serviced by a siding on the Pinjarra-Narrogin railway.

Pinjarra Senior High School

Pinjarra Senior High School is a comprehensive public high school located in Pinjarra, a regional centre 86 kilometres east of Perth, Western Australia. The school was established in 1921 and by 2012 had an enrolment of 573 students between Year 8 and Year 12, approximately 3% of whom are Aboriginal. Students studying at the school come both from Pinjarra and surrounding areas such as Serpentine, Dwellingup, Warrona, North Yunderup and South Yunderup.
