Sendeturm Dobratsch

The Sendeturm Dobratsch (Dobratsch Transmitter Tower) is a 165m/541ft high radio tower on the Dobratsch mountain in Carinthia, Austria, built in 1971. It consists of a concrete tower which carries a guyed steel tube mast on the top, similar to the Gerbrandy Tower in the Netherlands. Dobratsch Transmitter Tower is used for directional radio services and FM broadcasting as well as for DVB-T transmission of several TV programmes. 125,000 watts ERP make it the strongest transmitter of Austria.

Feistritz an der Drau

Feistritz an der Drau (Slovene: Bistrica na Dravi) is a village in the municipality of Paternion, in Carinthia, Austria. The 1989 Biathlon World Championship was held here, the first joint Men and Women BWCH. The Windische Höhe Pass connects St. Stefan in the Gail River valley with Feistritz in the Drau River valley. After World War II, a British sector displaced persons camp was located in Feffernitz, a part of Feistritz.

Bela Peč Castle

Bela Peč Castle (Slovene: Grad Bela peč, "White Cliff Castle;" German: Schloss Weissenfels, Italian: Castello Fusine) is a castle ruin above the settlement of Bela Peč, near Rateče in the extreme northwest corner of Slovenia. The ruins are located almost exactly on the tripoint between Slovenia, Austria, and Italy, lying just barely on the Italian side of the border.
