Man-O-War Cay

Man-O-War Cay is a small island in the Abaco region of the Bahamas. It has a population of about 300 Bahamian residents and about 135 foreign resident families. During the summer some local houses are rented by vacationing families that have a reputation as good house guests (the exclusive nature of the locals leads noisier or more youthful vacationers to other islands). Abaco Islands

The Abaco Islands lie in the northern Bahamas and comprise the main islands of Great Abaco and Little Abaco, together with the smaller Wood Cay, Elbow Cay, Lubbers Quarters Cay, Green Turtle Cay, Great Guana Cay, Castaway Cay, Man-o-War Cay, Stranger's Cay, Umbrella Cay, Walker's Cay, Little Grand Cay, and Moore's Island. Administratively, the Abaco Islands constitute five of the 31 Districts of the Bahamas: North Abaco, Central Abaco, South Abaco, Moore's Island, and Hope Town.

Sea of Abaco

The Sea of Abaco (sometimes Abaco Sound), located in The Bahamas, is an approximately 100 kilometers (62 miles) long saltwater lagoon separating Great Abaco Island (known locally as the ‘mainland’) from a chain of barrier islands known as the Abaco Cays. Depths in the Sea of Abaco are generally a few meters, and shallow reefs and shoals can pose a serious hazard to navigation.

Anna Cay

Anna Cay is a small cay in the Abaco chain of the Bahamas. It resides at the entrance to the North End public dock on Elbow Cay near Hopetown. The cay is home to one residence which is colored pink.

Elbow Cay

Elbow Cay is a six-mile long cay in the Abaco Islands of the Bahamas. Originally populated by British loyalists fleeing the newly independent United States of America in 1785, it has survived on fishing, boat building, and salvage. Its main village of Hope Town surrounds a protected harbor with a noted red and white striped 120 ft (36m) lighthouse built in 1863.
