Man Island (Bahamas)

Man Island is a small, undeveloped island located near Eleuthera in the Bahamas Islands. Man Island is located in a group of islands that form a natural harbor and the largest island in this chain is Harbour Island. Man Island is situated between Harbour Island and the island of Spanish Wells. Man Island's area is approximately 35 acres owned by a number of individuals residing in the Bahamas, The United States and Europe.

North Eleuthera

North Eleuthera is one of the districts of the Bahamas, on the island of Eleuthera. Sweetings Pond in North Central Eleuthera is recognized as a site of special ecological value, containing, it is estimated, a concentration of Ophiothrix oerstedi brittlestars at up to 434 individuals per square metre, because of the lack of marine predators. Sweetings Pond is a 260-acre saltwater lake adjacent to the ocean but with no direct surface connection.

Egg Island (Bahamas)

Egg Island is an uninhabited island, officially an islet, comprising 800 m² [0.2 acres] in the Bahamas. It's so named because it is home to chickens owned by residents of other nearby islands who travel here to collect the eggs. The island has a crescent shaped beach that is protected by a reef that protects the entire beach. The water behind the reef is generally less than 2 m [6 feet] deep making it a good place to swim or watch the sea life.

Harbour Island, Bahamas

Harbour Island is an island and administrative district in the Bahamas and is located off the northeast coast of Eleuthera Island. The only town on the island is Dunmore Town, named after the governor of the Bahamas from 1786 to 1798, John Murray, 4th Earl of Dunmore, who had a summer residence on Harbour Island. Harbour Island is famous for its pink sand beaches, which are found all along the east side of the island.
