Awali
Awali is a small municipality located approximately in the centre of the Kingdom of Bahrain, a small island in the Persian Gulf. Founded in the 1930s by the Bahrain Petroleum Company, it is populated mostly by workers of various nationalities from around the world whose skills were needed in the setting up and running of the refinery at Sitrah. To its north are Bahrain's oil refinery and to its south are the oil wells and the desert area of Sakhir.

Riffa Fort
Built as a fort during the reign of Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed Al Khalifa in 1812, while another source claim that it was built during the rule of the Persian Safavid Empire of Iran over Bahrain during the 17th century, the fort was converted into a residence in the 19th century for Shaikh Salman Bin Ahmed (Al Fateh) Al Khalifa. Riffa Fort or it is now named (Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed Fort) offers a splendid view across the Hunanaiya valley.

Geography of Bahrain
Bahrain (from the Arabic word for "two seas" — itself an inaccurate folk etymology for the much older, Semitic term, Bahran) comprises an archipelago of thirty-three islands in the Persian Gulf, situated close to the shore of the Arabian Peninsula. The islands are about twenty-four kilometers from the east coast of Saudi Arabia and twenty-eight kilometers from Qatar. The total area of the islands is about 691 square kilometers, or about four times the size of the District of Columbia.

Bahrain Grand Prix
The Bahrain Grand Prix is a Formula One Championship race in Bahrain sponsored by Gulf Air. The first race took place at the Bahrain International Circuit on 4 April 2004. It made history as the first Formula One Grand Prix to be held in the Middle East, and was given the award for the "Best Organised Grand Prix" by the FIA. The Bahrain Grand Prix has usually been the third race of the Formula One calendar.

2005 Bahrain Grand Prix
The 2005 Bahrain Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held on 3 April, 2005 at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, Bahrain. The race, contested over 57 laps, was the third round of the 2005 Formula One season and the second running of the Bahrain Grand Prix, since its inception the year before. The race was won by polesitter and championship leader Fernando Alonso for the Renault team.
