Jatiyo Smriti Soudho

Jatiyo Sriti Soudho (Bengali: জাতীয় স্মৃতি সৌধ Jatio Sriti Shoudho) or National Martyrs' Memorial is the national monument of Bangladesh is the symbol in the memory of the valour and the sacrifice of all those who gave their lives in the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971, which brought independence and separated Bangladesh from Pakistan. The monument is located in Savar, about 35 km north-west of the capital, Dhaka. It was designed by Syed Mainul Hossain.

Dhaka Zoo

Dhaka Zoo, is a Zoo located in the Mirpur section of Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. The Zoo contains many native and non-native animals and wild life, and hosts about three million visitors each year. Established in 1974, the 186-acre Dhaka Zoo is the largest zoo in Bangladesh, and is operated by the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock. Tongi

Tongi is a township in Gazipur, Bangladesh,one of the near by town of Savar, with a population of 350,000 that hosts the Biswa Ijtema, features a BSCIC industrial area, which produces BDT 1500 crore of industrial products annually, and marks the northern border of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, since 1786. Tongi Shahid Memorial School compound is mass burial site of the genocide in Liberation War of Bangladesh.

Uttara Thana

Uttara Model Town or simply Uttara is a northern Thana and a suburb of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. The name derives from the Bengali word ut'tar meaning "north". It lies on the road to Gazipur, and adjoins Shahjalal International Airport. Uttara is primarily planned square grid residential suburb, geographically elevated from southern Dhaka saving it from floods, and is divided into several "sectors". It can be said that Uttara is far from the congestion and pollution of Dhaka.
