Gazaria Upazila

Gazaria is one of the Six Upazila of Munshiganj District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is 28 kilometer away from the Capital Dhaka and bounded by Sonargaon and Homna upazilas on the north, Matlab upazila on the south, Daudkandi upazila on the east, Munshiganj sadar upazila and Sonargaon upazilas and the Meghna river on the west. The entire upazila is surrounded by the river Meghna practically making it a Delta.

Meghna Bridge

Meghna Bridge is a road bridge in Bangladesh. It was built by assistance of Japan and officially named Japan Bangladesh Friendship Bridge 1, but it is popularly known as Meghna Bridge. According to a study conducted in 2004 by the Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh, residents living around the Meghna Bridge recognized several positive impacts after the construction of the bridge.

Gumti River (Tripura)

Gumti River originates from Dumbur in the northeastern hilly region of Tripura state of India. From its source it flows about 150 km along a meandering course through the hills, turns west and enters Bangladesh near Katak Bazar. Then it takes a meandering course again and passes through the northern side of Comilla town and east of Mainamati. Keeping Burichang upazila on the north, it cuts through Debidwar upazila and reaches Companiganj Bazar.

Bikrampur

Bikrampur pargana is situated 12 miles south of Dhaka, the modern-day capital of Bangladesh. It lies in the Munshiganj District of Bangladesh. It is a historic region in Bengal.
