Putte is a village on the border between the Netherlands and Belgium. The Dutch part, Putte (Netherlands), is in the province of North-Brabant. The Belgian part is in the province of Antwerp and is divided over 2 municipalities: mostly the municipality of Kapellen and a small part in the municipality of Stabroek.

Putte, Netherlands

Putte is part of the Dutch municipality of Woensdrecht, and had 3751 inhabitants as of 1 January 2008. The village lies on and extends over the border between the Netherlands and Belgium, the Belgian part being Putte (Kapellen). The former municipality (which merged with several other communities to form the municipality of Woensdrecht in 1997) covered 18,56 sq. kilometres, of which much is forest and moorland.

Kapellen (B) railway station

Kapellen is a railway station in the town of Kapellen, Antwerp, Belgium. The station opened on 26 June 1854 on the Antwerp–Lage Zwaluwe railway, known in Belgium as Line 12.

Hoevenen Airfield

Vliegveld Hoevenen is a small airfield between Antwerp and the Dutch border. It has a grass runway, precious little hangar space, and a bar/restaurant called Den Buynderdyck. It is home to a flying club Vliegclub Hoevenen and a parajumpers club. Located just outside Antwerp CTR, it is the aerodrome of choice for ULM flyers in this part of the country.

De Zoom – Kalmthoutse Heide

De Zoom - Kalmthoutse Heide, is a cross-border park on the Belgian-Dutch border. It is a merger of two former parks, the Kalmthoutse Heide in Belgium and De Zoom in the Netherlands), together extending over 37.50 square kilometres . A very large part of the park is covered with heath. The park is managed by a special commission in which both Flemish and Dutch organisations are represented.
