Florent Beeckmanstadion

Florent Beeckmanstadion is a stadium in Denderleeuw, Belgium. It is mainly used for football and is the home stadium of F. C. Verbroedering Dender E.H.. Built in 1997, it has a capacity of 8.157 people. In 2008, the FCV Dender EH-management decided to build a new stadium, because the old one didn't fit to League One conditions. It was created by local architect Frank Leenknegt.

Denderhoutem

Denderhoutem is a village, located in the Denderstreek in the Flemish province of East Flanders. Since 1977 it is part of the municipality of Haaltert. The arms show a garb, most likely a symbol for agriculture. The old seals of the local council, dating from the 15th and 16th century, showed a tree, with on the sides two small shields, one with the lion of Flanders, the other with the arms of Burgundy. Why the council in the early 19th century applied for the garb instead is not known.

Meerbeke

Meerbeke is a village in the Denderstreek in the province of East Flanders in Belgium. Administratively it is part of the municipality of Ninove. This rural community is located along the Dender River on the western border of what is known as "Pajottenland". With a total surface of 1047ha it is the second largest village in Ninove. It is perhaps most known as the arrival location for the Flemish cycling race the Ronde van Vlaanderen (1973-2011).

Affligem Abbey

Affligem Abbey is a Benedictine monastery in the municipality of Affligem, Flemish Brabant, Belgium, twelve miles to the north-west of Brussels. Dedicated in 1086, it was the most important monastery in the Duchy of Brabant and therefore often called Primaria Brabantiae.
