The Vlaams Instituut voor Biotechnologie (English: Flanders Institute for Biotechnology), is a research institute located in Flanders, Belgium. Zwijnaarde

Zwijnaarde is a village in the municipality of Ghent, Belgium. It is known for its fair and its Zwijntjes beer. A cluster of biotech companies is located at the Zwijnaarde science park, with biotech companies such as Innogenetics, and DevGen. Melsen

Melsen is a village in the province of East-Flanders, Belgium, and is a part of the municipality of Merelbeke. It covers an area of roughly 3 square kilometers. Its terrain is largely made up of one great hill. The northern and southern slopes of the hill, which are fairly steep for the surrounding area (about 20 meters), form the natural boundaries with the bordering villages of Vurste and Schelderode.

Arteveldestadion

Arteveldestadion is a multi-use stadium in Ghent, Belgium, that as of 2009 is under construction. Once completed in 2013, it will be used mostly for football matches and will host the home matches of K.A.A. Gent. The stadium will have a capacity of 20,000 people. It replaces their current stadium Jules Ottenstadion. The first plans of the stadium were presented mid-2003, but only at the start of 2011, KAA Gent could confirm that the stadium would be built. It should be ready by mid-2013.
