Bloemenwerf
Bloemenwerf is the name of the residence house of Belgian painter, architect and interior designer Henry van de Velde, built in 1895. It is located at Uccle, Belgium. Velde designed the house and its interior as well as the furnishings. It was inspired in part by William Morris' Red House. Van de Velde gave everything in the house, from the door furnishings to the wallpaper, the same patterns of embellishments and flowing linear shapes.

Nemo 33
Nemo 33 is the deepest indoor swimming pool in the world. The pool is located in Brussels, Belgium. Its maximum depth is 34.5 metres . It contains 2.78787 million litres of non-chlorinated, highly filtered spring water maintained at 30 °C (86 °F) and holds several simulated underwater caves at the 10 metres depth level. There are numerous underwater windows that allow outside visitors to look into the pools at various depths.

The Belgian Institute for Space Aeronomy (BIRA-IASB) is a Belgian federal scientific research institute. Created in 1964, its main tasks are research and public service in space aeronomy, which is the physics and chemistry of the atmosphere of the Earth and other planets, and of outer space. The scientists rely on ground-based, balloon-, air- or space-borne instruments and computer models.

Royal Observatory of Belgium
The Royal Observatory of Belgium, officially known in French as the Observatoire Royal de Belgique, and in Dutch as the Koninklijke Sterrenwacht van België, is situated at Uccle (Ukkel in Dutch) since 1890, although it was originally founded in 1834. It was home to a 100 cm diameter aperture Zeiss reflector in the first half of the 20th century, one of the largest telescopes in the world at the time.

Planetarium (Belgium)
The Planetarium of the Royal Observatory of Belgium is a Belgian planetarium and part of the institutions of the Belgian Federal Science Policy Office. The dome of the planetarium measures 23 metres in diameter, on which the Sun, the Moon, the planets, the Milky Way and more than 8500 stars can be projected. The Zeiss UPP 23/5 projector of the planetarium is made up of 119 projectors and was built by the Carl Zeiss company of Jena.
