Soleilmont Abbey

Soleilmont Abbey (French: Abbaye Notre-Dame de Soleilmont) is an abbey of Trappistine nuns (O.C.S.O. , or Order of Cistercians of the Strict Obervance) situated in the forest and commune of Fleurus, at Gilly near Charleroi, Belgium, founded, according to tradition, in the 11th century, which became Cistercian in 1237. The nuns were expelled as a consequence of the French Revolution in 1796, but soon re-established themselves in 1802. The community became Bernardine in 1837, and Trappist in 1919.

Spiroudome

Spiroudome is an indoor arena in Charleroi, Belgium. Opened in 2002, it currently can hold 6,300 spectators (5,440 fan seats, 160 lodge seats, 700 business seats). It hosts indoor sporting events such as tennis and basketball. The arena hosted the annual ULEB Cup final from 2004 to 2008. It is also the home arena of the Spirou Charleroi basketball club.

Stade du Pays de Charleroi

Stade du Pays de Charleroi is a football stadium in the city of Charleroi, Belgium. It was built for the 2000 UEFA European Championship in Belgium and the Netherlands in replacement of the old stadium known as Mambourg. It is the home of Sporting Charleroi. Its capacity was 30,000 for Euro 2000 but was reduced shortly after to 25,000 in line with Charleroi's average attendances.

Beaux-Arts (Charleroi Metro)

Beaux-Arts (Fine arts) is the largest station in the Charleroi Metro network, located in Charleroi downtown, in fare zone 1. Because of its situation on a slope, the station terminates on a viaduct at one end, and in a tunnel at the other end. The station has two street entrances leading to a mezzanine level where ticket counters and shops are located. Platforms are accessible from the mezzanine through escalators and stairs.
