Dave Castle

Dave Castle, also known as Fernan-Nuñez Castle (French: Château de Dave, Château Fernan-Nuñez) is a château in the village of Dave, also known as Dave-sur-Meuse, now a part of the city of Namur, Belgium. The château stands on the banks of the Meuse. It was originally a medieval structure, the centre of power of the influential sieurs de Dave, but was ruined in the 17th century, and re-constructed in the 18th and 19th centuries by the Dukes of Fernan-Nuñez, whence the alternative name.

Wépion

Located 8 km the south of Namur, Wépion is the Belgian capital of the strawberry. The strawberry has been cultivated there for more than 150 years because Wépion benefits from a micro-climate, sun-exposed plantations on west sloping ground and has a perfect ground for this type of culture. It produces a strawberry beer under the brand name La Wépionnaise.

The Bocq is a small river in the province of Namur, southern Belgium, right tributary of the Meuse. Its source is in Scy, a hamlet of Hamois. It flows west through Hamois and Spontin, and into the Meuse in Yvoir.

Annevoie Castle

Annevoie Castle is a château in the village of Annevoie-Rouillon in the municipality of Anhée, province of Namur, Belgium. It was built in the 18th century by the Montpellier family, and is principally known for the extensive water gardens that surround it, the Jardins d'Annevoie, the only ones of their kind in Belgium. The design is basically French, but contains numerous English and Italian elements. The water is from the River Rouillon.
