Meix-le-Tige

Meix-le-Tige (Walloon MS-li-Tîxhe) is a section of the Belgian town of Saint-Léger, located in Wallonia municipality in the province of Luxembourg of Belgium. It was a separate municipality before the merger of Commons in 1977. Meix-le-Rod is an exception in Belgian Lorraine, in that it name belongs to the Germanic languages, while its inhabitants traditionally spoke Gaume (Lorraine dialect novel).

The Land of Arlon is the traditionally Luxembourgish-speaking part of Belgian Lorraine, but now predominantly French-speaking. Arlon is the main city of this region.
