Celles, Houyet

Celles is a village in the municipality of Houyet in the province of Namur, Belgium. It is a member of the heritage group Les Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie ("The Most Beautiful Villages of Wallonia"). It is served by Gendron-Celles railway station, located several kilometres south-west of the village centre, next to the river Lesse. The Château de Vêves is near the village. It is also, the farthest point the Nazi Army advanced during the Battle of the Bulge in World War II.

Miranda Castle

Miranda Castle, also known as Noisy Castle (French: Château de Noisy) is a 19th century castle in Celles, province of Namur, Belgium, in the region of the Ardennes. The castle was built in 1866 by the English architect Milner under commission from the Liedekerke-Beaufort family, who had left their previous home, Vêves Castle, during the French Revolution.

Castle of Vêves

The Castle of Vêves occupies a rocky platform just outside the village of Celles, in the province of Namur, Belgium. It is classified as Major Heritage of Wallonia. According to tradition, the site has been occupied by castles since the time of Pippin of Herstal (7th century). In the later Middle Ages, the area fell under control of the Beaufort family, which oversaw the construction of a stronghold here in about 1230.

Crupet

Crupet is a village in Wallonia, Belgium. It is part of the municipality of Assesse, although formerly it was itself a municipality. It is a member of the organisation Les Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie . The centre of the village is dominated by the Grotto of St Anthony of Padua. The grotto was designed by the local curate Gerard and inaugurated on 12 July 1903. It features 22 religious-themed statues. Many of them depict scenes from the life of St Anthony of Padua.
