Battle of Jodoigne
The Battle of Jodoigne was fought October 20th 1568 between Spanish and Dutch forces. The Spanish destroyed the rear guard of William the Silent's invading army, forcing him to abandon his invasion of the Netherlands and to retreat into Germany. Walhain
Walhain is a Walloon municipality of Belgium located in the province of Walloon Brabant. It consists of the former municipalities of Nil-Saint-Vincent-Saint-Martin, Tourinnes-Saint-Lambert and Walhain-Saint-Paul. Walhain is locally famous because, although it is quite a little village, they have two successful national division sport teams.
