Xaibe

Xaibe is little rural settlement in the country of Belize. It is located in the Corozal District. The name Xaibe literally means 'crossroads'. This may well account for the village been located en route to other villages and destinations. The people of the Mayan civilization often traversed across the village to reach other Mayan villages. San Joaquin, Corozal

San Joaquin is a village in the Corozal District of Belize. With a population of about 2000 people, it is one of the largest villages in Corozal. The town was formed as a result of Mestizos migrating to escape the 1847–1901 Caste War of Yucatán.
