Daifam

Daifam is a settlement in the far east of Bhutan. Daifam in local language means place where the dairy products are produced. It is said that during 1950's and 1960's this place used to produce huge milk,curd,cheese and butter,hence the name Dairy-farm,and gradually became Daifam. It is located in Samdrup Jongkhar District, close to the border with India, connected with the Indian town Bhairabkunda by the road.

Bhairabkunda

Bhairabkunda is a popular picnic spot in Udalguri district in the State of Assam, India. It is situated on the border of Bhutan and Arunachal Pradesh, near the Bhutanese town of Daifam. The Jampani River, originating in Bhutan, and Bhairabi River merge here to form Dhanshiri River. Dhanshiri river is a major tributary of Brahmaputra river. An irrigation project was constructed on Dhanshiri river at Bhairabkunda. A guide dam was constructed inside Bhutan for this project.

Odalguri

Odalguri (Also spelled as Udalguri) is a town and a town area committee and the headquarters of Udalguri district in the north-eastern Indian state of Assam. Earlier, Udalgiri was a sub-divisional headquarters in Darrang District. But after signing of Bodo Accord to end the demand for a Separate Bodoland State, An Autonomous District called Bodoland Territorial Autonomous District (BTAD) was created and Odalguri district became one of the four Districts under BTAD.
