The Federal University of Uberlândia (in Portuguese Universidade Federal de Uberlândia; UFU) is an institution in the southwest of Minas Gerais, in Uberlândia, Brazil. It is a public university and does not charge any fees. The students are admitted through yearly exams, the vestibular. It is the home ground of Uberlândia Esporte Clube and Clube Atlético Portal, and is the biggest stadium in Minas Gerais state countryside. The stadium was built in 1982 and is able to hold 50,000 people. It is owned by the Uberlândia City Hall.

Ginásio Municipal Tancredo Neves is an indoor sporting arena located in Uberlândia, Brazil. The capacity of the arena is 12,000 spectators and opened in 1988. It hosts indoor sporting events such as basketball and volleyball, and also hosts concerts. It stands just to the east of Estádio Parque do Sábia. The arena is named after Tancredo Neves, a politician who died in 1985 before he took the office of the President of Brazil.
