Taquaritinga is a city in the Central North area of the State of São Paulo, Brazil. It has 53 985 inhabitants (2010), more than 90% of them living in the urban area. The population is formed basically by European descendants. Afro-Brazilians, and Japanese-Brazilians are important minority groups.
