Monivong Bridge

Monivong Bridge is a heavily trafficked bridge in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It bridges the Bassac River near the end of National Highway 2 to southern Cambodia and lies along the National Highway 1 which connects the city to eastern Cambodia and Vietnam. On the eastern shore lies the Chhba Ampeou Market.

Kien Svay District

Kien Svay is a district of Kandal Province, Cambodia. The district is subdivided into 12 communes and 46 villages. Near the town there is a "resort" of small shacks on stilts above a river. This is a popular weekend jaunt for Phnom Penh residents. Kien Svay District is lied on road number 1. It's connected between Phnom Penh Capital to Svay Rieng Province. Most of people here are Farmers.

Operation Eagle Pull

Operation Eagle Pull was the U.S. evacuation by air of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on 12 April, 1975. At the beginning of April 1975, Phnom Penh, the last remaining stronghold of the Khmer Republic, was surrounded by the Khmer Rouge and totally dependent on aerial resupply through Pochentong Airport. With a Khmer Rouge victory imminent, the United States made contingency plans for the evacuation of US nationals and at-risk Cambodians by helicopter to ships in the Gulf of Thailand.
