Etzikom, Alberta

Etzikom is a hamlet in Alberta, Canada within the County of Forty Mile No. 8. It is approximately 20 kilometres east of Foremost on Highway 61. The name Etzikom comes from the Blackfoot language word for valley or coulee, referring to Etzikom Coulee. Etzikom is also home to The Canadian National Historic Windmill Centre, a museum dedicated to windmills throughout history. Each year, Etzikom holds its annual Fun Run. Etzikom's respresentative in Alberta's provincial legislature is Leonard Mitzel.

Pakowki, Alberta

Pakowki is an unincorporated community in Alberta, Canada within the County of Forty Mile No. 8. It is located along Highway 61 in southeast Alberta. It is one of many ghost towns along the historic Red Coat Trail route. Nothing remains of Pakowki, but a Canadian Pacific Railway section house that was moved to a nearby community.

Conquerville, Alberta

Conquerville (also known as Maleb) is an unincorporated community in Forty Mile County, Alberta, Canada. Located 30 miles north of Highway 61, in southeast Alberta, Canada. It is one of many ghost towns along the historic Red Coat Trail route.

Red Rock Coulee

Red Rock Coulee is located in south-eastern Alberta, Canada. It is 60 km south of the city of Medicine Hat on Highway 887, just outside the hamlet of Seven Persons. The main feature of this natural landscape is the huge red boulders; some measuring 2.5 m across. They are scattered over a relatively small distance and can be viewed without walking far at all. From the viewpoint off Highway 887 you can view the red rocks and see the Sweetgrass Hills of Montana on the horizon.
