Sturgeon River (Alberta)

The Sturgeon River is a 260 km long river located in central Alberta, Canada. It is a major tributary of the North Saskatchewan River. The stream crosses Sturgeon County, which was named for this river. At the Villeneuve station, Sturgeon River has a discharge of 0.4 to 3 m³/s. Fish species which may be found in the river include: walleye, pike, perch, burbot, goldeye, sturgeon, whitefish, and sauger.

Jubilee Recreation Centre

The Jubilee Recreation Centre is a 2,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. It was home to the Fort Saskatchewan Traders ice hockey team. The arena is also referred to as "the JRC". Now only little league hockey, the CJHL Pyramid Corporation Hawks and Fort Chiefs senior mens AAA hockey is played at the location. The city's lacrosse team called The Fort Saskatchewan Rebels play here as well.

Scotford Upgrader

The Shell Scotford Upgrader is an oilsand upgrader, a facility which processes crude bitumen (extra-heavy crude oil) from oil sands into a wide range of synthetic crude oils. The upgrader is owned by Athabasca Oil Sands Project (AOSP), a joint venture of Shell Canada Energy (60%), Marathon Oil Sands L.P. (20%) and Chevron Canada Limited (20%). The facility is located in the industrial development of Scotford, just to the northeast of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta in the Edmonton Capital Region.
