Bridal Veil Falls (Manitoulin Island)

Bridal Veil Falls is a waterfall near the town of Kagawong on Manitoulin Island, Ontario, Canada. The water source is the Kagawong River which flows between Lake Kagawong and Lake Huron. It has a height of approximately 35 feet . There is a short hiking trail from the fall down to Lake Huron. It is easily accessible, just off Highway 540.

Lake Kagawong

Lake Kagawong is the second largest lake on Manitoulin Island in Ontario, Canada. Located in the central part of the island, the lake is drained by the Kagawong River, which falls over Bridal Veil Falls into Lake Huron. Kagawong means "[where mists rise] from the falling [waters waters]" in the local Ojibwe language. Lake Kagawong has moderately deep (10-15 meter average) clear-green water, with vertical visibility of 5–6 meters.

M'Chigeeng First Nation

M'Chigeeng First Nation, also known as West Bay, is an Ojibwe First Nation in the Manitoulin District of Ontario, Canada. Total registered population as of September, 2007, was 2251 people, of which their on-reserve population was 882. The First Nation have reserved for themselves the 3094.7 ha M'Chigeeng 22 Indian Reserve located on Manitoulin Island.

Manitoulin Island

Manitoulin Island /ˌmænɨˈtuːlɨn/ is a Canadian lake island in Lake Huron, in the province of Ontario. It is the largest lake island in the world. In addition to the historic Anishinaabe and European settlement of the island, archeological discoveries at Sheguiandah have demonstrated Paleo-Indian and Archaic cultures dating from 10,000 BCE to 2000 BCE.
