North Bend railway station

North Bend railway station is in North Bend, British Columbia, Canada. The station is served by Via Rail's The Canadian three times per week as a flag stop (48 hours advance notice required). The station is only served by trains heading to Kamloops and points east. West bound trains call at the Boston Bar railway station.

Boston Bar, British Columbia

Boston Bar is an unincorporated town in the Fraser Canyon of the Canadian province of British Columbia. The name dates from the time of the Fraser Canyon Gold Rush (1858–1861). A "bar" is a gold-bearing sandbar or sandy riverbank, and the one slightly down river and opposite today's town was populated heavily by Americans, who were known in the parlance of the Chinook Jargon as "Boston men" or simply "Bostons".
