Ferry Island Provincial Park

Ferry Island Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia that is located on the south side of the Fraser River northeast of Rosedale. This park is northwest of Bridal Falls, British Columbia and adjacent to the Agassiz-Rosedale Bridge. The Ferry Island Park was established in 1963, and it has an area of about 29 hectares. Ferry Island Provincial Park is listed as a "Class C" provincial park which is governed by a local community board.

Bridal Falls, British Columbia

Bridal Falls is a community in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia, located east of Rosedale and immediately adjacent to the on-ramps for the Agassiz-Rosedale Bridge, which connects the Trans-Canada Highway at Bridal Falls to Agassiz, on BC Highway 7. Bridal Falls is mostly a highway services community, with several truck stops and restaurants.

Agassiz railway station

Agassiz railway station is in Agassiz, British Columbia, Canada. The station is served by Via Rail's The Canadian three times per week as a flag stop (48 hours advance notice required). The station is only served by east-bound trains. West-bound trains call at the Chilliwack railway station.

Cheam Peak

Cheam Peak or Mount Cheam is the farthest northerly peak of the Cheam Range, a subrange of the Skagit Range of the Canadian Cascades mountains. It dominates the eastern Fraser Valley, rising above Bridal Falls and Agassiz just east of Chilliwack, and west of Hope, British Columbia. The north face, plunging 2,000 m to the Valley floor, has rarely been climbed. However, an easy trail provides access to the summit from a subalpine bowl to the southwest.
