Dante's

Dante's is a nightclub and live music venue in Portland, Oregon, United States, that opened in February, 2000. Since opening, the club has hosted numerous internationally-famous bands, solo-acts, troupes and performance artists. Many now-famous performers honed their acts at Dante's including the "lounge-core/mash-up" band Storm & The Balls featuring Storm Large. The band had a regular Wednesday night show at the club for nearly five years.

X-Ray Cafe

The X-Ray Cafe was a small music venue in Portland, Oregon, United States from 1990 to 1994. An all-ages and community-oriented club, the X-Ray played a "heavyweight role in shaping Portland's underground culture," fostering such musical acts as Elliott Smith, Team Dresch, and Quasi, and was described by Details as one of the best rock and roll clubs in the country.

Shanghai tunnels

According to popular legend, the Shanghai Tunnels, less commonly known as the Portland Underground, are a group of passages running underneath Old Town/Chinatown down to the central downtown section of Portland, Oregon, United States. The tunnels connected the basements of many downtown hotels and bars to the waterfront of the Willamette River.

Voodoo Doughnut

Voodoo Doughnut is an independent doughnut shop based in Portland, Oregon, U.S.A. The original location, opened in 2003, is at 22 SW 3rd Avenue, "just south of the Burnside Bridge", around the corner from Dan and Louis Oyster Bar, and next door to The Paris Theater, a historic adult movie house. Voodoo Doughnut is known for its unusual doughnuts, the eclectic decor of its shops and its iconic pink boxes which feature the company's logo and drawings of voodoo priests.
