Clearwater railway station

The Clearwater railway station is on the Canadian National Railway mainline in Clearwater, British Columbia, the station is located south side of the North Thompson River (opposite the town site). The station is served by Via Rail's The Canadian three times per week in each direction as a flag stop (48 hours advance notice required).

Clearwater, British Columbia

Clearwater is a district municipality in the North Thompson River valley in British Columbia, Canada, 124 km north of Kamloops. The largest community in the valley, with a population of 4,960, Clearwater is predominantly employed by the forestry industry. Tourism is also a major industry, with Wells Gray Provincial Park just to the north. The park encompasses 5,250 square kilometres, with four rivers, six major lakes, and 39 named waterfalls, including Canada's fourth highest, Helmcken Falls.

Clearwater River (British Columbia)

The Clearwater River is the largest tributary of the North Thompson River, joining it at the community of Clearwater, British Columbia. The Clearwater rises from glaciers in the Cariboo Mountains and flows in a mostly southerly direction for 201 km to the North Thompson. Its entire course, except the last 5 km, is within Wells Gray Provincial Park. Its confluence with the North Thompson is protected by North Thompson River Provincial Park. There are two large lakes on the Clearwater River.

Spahats Creek Falls

Spahats Creek Falls, also called Spahats Falls, is a waterfall on Spahats Creek within Wells Gray Provincial Park of British Columbia, Canada. Common references place the falls at around 60 m tall, but taking into account the second tier, it is closer to 75–80 meters tall. It is a popular stop for tourists and especially motorcoach tours since it is only 10 km off the busy Yellowhead Highway. Spahats Creek rises from snowmelt and springs at a pass between Raft Mountain and Trophy Mountain.

Buck Hill (British Columbia)

Buck Hill is a hill in east-central British Columbia, Canada, located 17 km north of Clearwater. It rises from the west slope of Trophy Mountain. Buck Hill is just outside the boundary of Wells Gray Provincial Park.
