Central Huron Secondary School ('CHSS') is a secondary school in Clinton, Ontario. The school opened in 1866. Although High School classes had been held in the Clinton Masonic Lodge as early as the mid-1850s, it was not until 1866 that Clinton High School was formally established. In 1877, the school was officially designated a Collegiate school because it offered courses in classical studies (Greek and Latin).

Clinton is a community in the Canadian province of Ontario, located in the municipality of Central Huron. Established in 1831, Clinton first began when Jonas Gibbings, Peter and Stephen Vanderburg cleared out a small area to start. Clinton started to grow in 1844 when William Rattenbury laid out the plans to began making a village. In 1954, Clinton's population was 2625 people. Today, it has an estimated population of 3082.

Hullett Provincial Wildlife Area
Hullett Provincial Wildlife Area (HPWA) is a major wetland habitat in southwestern Ontario, east of Clinton, which was developed in a partnership between the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ducks Unlimited Canada. It consists of 2200 hectares of mixed terrain of which almost 40% is open water, marsh or swamp and provides a habitat for resident and migrant birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and plants.
