Ron Pettigrew Christian School

Ron Pettigrew Christian School (RPCS) is a full accredited, K-12 Christian school in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. The first principal was John Bailey, who also coached the basketball team. RPCS open in 1989 and completed its own facility in September 1992. A new gymnasium was added in 2008. RPCS is affiliated with the ACSI, and uses BC curricula. It is governed by a board elected by the Dawson Creek Community Christian Education Society.

CJDC-TV is a privately owned television station affiliated with CBC Television in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Canada. It broadcasts an analogue signal on VHF channel 5 from a transmitter near 233 Road in Peace River. Owned by Astral Media, it is part of the Great West Television system, and its studios located on 102 Avenue and 9 Street in Dawson Creek. This station can also be seen on Shaw Cable channel 3.

The Bear Mountain Wind Park is an electricity generating wind farm facility located near Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Canada. It is owned by Bear Mountain Wind LP and began operations in November, 2009. BC's first operating wind farm has a generating capacity of 102 megawatts.

Rolla, British Columbia

Rolla is a small historic farming community in the Peace River district of North Eastern British Columbia. It was first founded about 1912 as a way stop and steamer landing on the Peace River. Farms were established as the prairie was open, and the soil was rich. Also, a successful oil well was drilled in 1922 establishing petroleum as an industry in the area. The late arrival of the Edmonton, Dunvegan and British Columbia Railway to the Peace District in 1930 hindered development.
