Tomslake, British Columbia
Tomslake is an unincorporated settlement in British Columbia. It is located in the Peace River Country, immediately west of the Alberta border, along Highway 2, south from Pouce Coupe, on the north side of Tate Creek, to the northwest of Swan Lake. The community was established in 1939 by a group of refugees from the Sudetenland of Czechoslovakia. Most of the settlers comes from the Sudetenland. Sudeten Provincial Park and Swan Lake Provincial Park are located south of the settlement.

Rolla, British Columbia
Rolla is a small historic farming community in the Peace River district of North Eastern British Columbia. It was first founded about 1912 as a way stop and steamer landing on the Peace River. Farms were established as the prairie was open, and the soil was rich. Also, a successful oil well was drilled in 1922 establishing petroleum as an industry in the area. The late arrival of the Edmonton, Dunvegan and British Columbia Railway to the Peace District in 1930 hindered development.
