Vaseux Lake

Vaseux Lake is a freshwater lake located along the course of the Okanagan River in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada. The lake has the towns Okanagan Falls to the north, and Oliver to the south. The lake stage is controlled by McIntyre Dam. Vasuex Creek (and the associated alluvial fan) are to the south, near McIntyre Bluff; however, it does not flow into Vaseux Lake.

Richter Pass

Richter Pass is a mountain pass to the south of the summit of British Columbia highway 3 (the Crowsnest Highway) between Keremeos (W) and Osoyoos (E), linking the Similkameen Valley with the South Okanagan over the southernmost end of the Thompson Plateau. The pass is traversed by Old Richter Pass Road and is ~650 m in elevation though the name is generally used for the route of Highway 3 as well.
