Bolster, Washington

Bolster is a ghost town in Okanogan County, Washington, USA. In 1899, the town was platted by J.S. McBride, who named it for the Spokane financier Herman Bolster. He sold lots in the new town and at one time there were several stores, a post office and three saloons. The small town of some thirty families traded with Chesaw, each calling the other a 'suburb'. The newspaper could not make any money, and eventually went out of business. In 1909, the post office closed.

Rock Creek Canyon Bridge

The Rock Creek Canyon Bridge is a large, multi-span, steel truss bridge on the Crowsnest Highway over Rock Creek Canyon in British Columbia. Originally built in 1951, the structure was widened and strengthened in 1992. Carrying two lanes of vehicular traffic, the bridge is 286 metres long and stands 91 metres above Rock Creek.

Jolly Creek

Jolly Creek is a creek located in the Boundary Country region of British Columbia. The creek is south of Conkle Lake. Jolly Creek flows into Rock Creek. It was discovered in 1860 and has been mined for gold. The Creek was named after local prospector Jolly Jack Thornton.
