Jacksons Lake (Lennox and Addington County)

Jacksons Lake is a small lake in the Moira River and Lake Ontario drainage basins in Addington Highlands, Lennox and Addington County, Ontario, Canada. The lake is about 380 metres long and 110 metres wide and lies at an elevation of 214 metres about 5.5 kilometres west of the community of Kaladar and 2 kilometres north of Ontario Highway 7. The primary inflow at the northwest and outflow at the southeast is an unnamed creek that is a right tributary of Little Skootamatta Creek.

Flinton, Ontario

Flinton is a small, unincorporated village in the township of Addington Highlands in Ontario, Canada. Presently about 250 people call it their home. Billa Flint was the founder of Flinton. Lennox and Addington

Lennox and Addington was a federal electoral district represented in the Canadian House of Commons from 1904 to 1925. It was located in the province of Ontario. This riding was first created in 1903 from Addington and Lennox ridings. It consisted of the county of Lennox and Addington. The electoral district was abolished in 1924 when it was redistributed between Frontenac—Addington and Prince Edward—Lennox ridings.

Midland District, Upper Canada

Midland District was one of four districts of the Province of Quebec created in 1788 in the western reaches of the Montreal District and partitioned in 1791 to create the new colony of Upper Canada. Known as Mecklenburg District (named after the castle Mikilenburg in the Mecklenburg region of Germany) until 1792, it was abolished in 1849. The district town was in Kingston.

Elzevir Lake

Elzevir Lake is a lake in the Moira River and Lake Ontario drainage basins in Tweed, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada. The lake is about 0.9 kilometres long and 0.3 kilometres wide and lies at an elevation of 254 metres about 10 kilometres west of the community of Flinton. The primary inflow is Elzevir Creek from an unnamed lake at the northwest; it is also the primary outflow at the southeast to an unnamed lake.
