Uxbridge Cottage Hospital is a hospital in Uxbridge, Ontario, opened in 1958 with additions in 1967 and 1996. In April 1997, under the Common Sense Revolution, the hospital was amalgamated with Community Memorial Hospital Port Perry to form North Durham Health Services (NDHS). NDHS ceased to exist in 1998.

The railway operates excursion trains over a 20 km route between the historic towns of Stouffville, Goodwood and Uxbridge. The round trip takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Trains are scheduled from June through mid-October, and are pulled by an Alco RS-11 diesel locomotive, #3612, which was built for the Duluth, Winnipeg & Pacific Railway in 1956 .

The Uxbridge Forest Kames is a 644-hectare provincially significant Earth Science Area of Natural and Scientific Interest in Ontario, Canada. The land is owned and managed by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority. It was formed during the Port Huron Stadial of the Late Wisconsinan, during which sedimentary deposits from the Lake Ontario ice lobe of the retreating glacial sheet.
