Tryon is an unincorporated area in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Situated on Route 1 and Route 10 (Prince Edward Island), it lies within the township of Lot 28 which in 2006 had a population of 880 people. Tryon is not far from Crapaud, Prince Edward Island. The area is mostly rural. In 1856, Charles E. Stanfield and his brother-in-law Samuel Dawson founded Tryon Woollen Mills in Tryon.
