Rivière-du-Loup Town Hall

Rivière-du-Loup Town Hall is the seat of local government in Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec, Canada. It is located at 189 Lafontaine Street. It was designed by architect Georges Ouimet in incorporating references to the Arts and Crafts Movement and the Second Empire style. It was built by contractors Lachance et Fils and was completed in 1916. It was enlarged from 1972 to 1973. It was designated as a National Historic Site of Canada on November 23, 1984.

Rivière du Loup

The Rivière du Loup is a river in southeastern Quebec which empties into the Saint Lawrence River at the city of Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec. There is a hydroelectric plant on the river near the city. The river's name means Wolf River in French and may have come from a native tribe known as "Les Loups" or from the many seals, known in French as loup-marin, once found at the river's mouth.

Baie de l'Isle-Verte

Baie de l’Isle-Verte (French for "Green Island Bay") is a 22.2 square kilometres coastal wetland along the southern shore of the Saint Lawrence River in Quebec, Canada. It was designated a Ramsar wetland of international importance on May 27, 1987, is classified as a globally significant Important Bird Area, and contains a National Wildlife Area and Migratory Bird Sanctuary. It is located in the Rivière-du-Loup Regional County Municipality, in the municipality of L’Isle-Verte.

Saint Francis River (Saint John River)

The St. Francis River is a river roughly 75 miles long, which forms part of the Canada – United States border. The river rises in a lake of the same name located 12 miles east of the Rivière du Loup in Quebec. The portion that forms the boundary starts at the bottom of Lake Pohenegamook at the very northernmost point of New England between Estcourt Station, Maine, and Estcourt, Quebec. The river flows generally south-east to its mouth on the St. John River at St.
