Alsask, Saskatchewan

Alsask is a hamlet in Milton Rural Municipality No. 292 within west central Saskatchewan, Canada. It previously held the status of a village until July 30, 2009. The hamlet is located 60 km west of Kindersley and just east of the Alberta border. Highway 44 runs to the east of Alsask, and Highway 7 lies a few kilometres to the north.

CFD Alsask

Canadian Forces Detachment Alsask (CFD Alsask) was a military radar station in the Rural Municipality of Milton 400 meters north of the hamlet of Alsask, Saskatchewan. RCAF Station Station Alsask was opened in 1963 as part of the Pinetree Line of NORAD radar stations. The station was later renamed CFD Alsask when the military branches were merged. The station was part of 44 Radar Squadron and had a call sign of November, Jade Ring.

Alsask Lake

Alsask Lake is a lake in Saskatchewan, Canada, located south east of Alsask, Saskatchewan. The lake is a natural source for sodium sulfate and until 1991 an extraction plant was operated by Francanna Minerals (Sodium Sulfate Company).
