St Peter's College, Muenster
St Peter's College was established by Benedictine monks of St. Peter's Abbey in 1921. The St. Peter's Abbey was founded in 1903 on the same site as the college. From 1921 until 1972 the College also offered a boys high school program. Today the college offers the first two years of the University of Saskatchewan Arts and Science program. The College is located in a rural setting, approximately a one hour drive from the University of Saskatchewan campus.

St. Peter's Abbey in Muenster, Saskatchewan, Canada is, as of February 2007, home to 27 Benedictine monks. This includes 17 priests, and 10 brothers. The abbot of St. Peter's is Peter Novecosky. They follow the monastic Rule of St. Benedict. St. Benedict wrote a rule for Christian life known for its balance and moderation; this life provides a balance between prayer, work and study for the monks. St. Peter's Abbey is also the oldest Benedictine monastery in Canada, as it was founded in 1903.

Waldsea Lake is a lake in central Saskatchewan, Canada 100 km east of Saskatoon near Carmel, Saskatchewan. The lake is partially saline with strong consentations of Sodium, Sulfate, Magnesium and Chlorine ions. It is part of the Lenore Lake Basin, which includes several saline lakes (Lenore, Basin, Middle, Frog, Ranch, Murphy, Flat, Mantrap, Houghton, Deadmoose and Waldsea) as well as the freshwater St. Brieux Lake and Burton Lake. The basin has no natural outlet.
