CBK (AM)

CBK is a Canadian clear-channel station, broadcasting the CBC Radio One network at 540 AM to most of southern Saskatchewan. The AM transmitter is located in Watrous, the city of license, but its studios are located at the CBC's broadcast centre in Regina. This facility also houses CBK-FM and CBKT. The station operates as a 50,000-watt clear-channel station.

Manitou Beach, Saskatchewan

Manitou Beach is a resort village in Saskatchewan, Canada, located on the shores of Little Manitou Lake, approximately 100 km east of Saskatoon, and 5 km north of the town of Watrous. It is a tourist destination with a Mineral Spa, Danceland dance hall, a 9-hole golf course and a Regional Park campground.

Little Manitou Lake (Saskatchewan)

Little Manitou Lake is a small saltwater lake about 100 kilometres South-East of Saskatoon, Canada. The lake was formed by receding glaciers during the most recent ice age. It is fed by underground springs, and has a mineral content high in sodium, magnesium and potassium salts due to it being a terminal lake. The salt content of the water (180 g/L) gives it a density about halfway to that of the Dead Sea (300-400 ppt), allowing bathers to float easily.
