Waterdown, Ontario

Waterdown is a town in Canada which since 2001 has been a community of Hamilton, Ontario. On January 1, 2001 the new city of Hamilton was formed from the amalgamation of the Regional Municipality of Hamilton-Wentworth and its six municipalities: Hamilton, Ancaster, Dundas, Flamborough, Glanbrook, and Stoney Creek. Before amalgamation, the "old" City of Hamilton had 331,121 Hamiltonians divided into 100 neighbourhoods. The new amalgamated city has 490,268 people in over 200 neighbourhoods.

Aldershot School

Aldershot School, also known as Aldershot High School, is a grade 7-12 school located in Aldershot, Ontario. Although the current school building was constructed in the mid-1900s, the original Aldershot School was built in 1870, making the name the oldest in continual use for an educational institution in Halton region. Originally a high school (grades 9-13, later cut back to grade 12), grades 7 and 8 were added in 2001 to make use of spare capacity.

Aldershot, Ontario

Aldershot is a community in south-central Ontario, Canada, on Burlington Bay, Lake Ontario. It is a neighbourhood of Burlington, in Halton Regional Municipality. This former unincorporated village was previously a part of East Flamborough Township until it was annexed by the City of Burlington in 1962. It has a "fiercely independent spirit" and always maintained a quality of independence and individual identity.

Royal Botanical Gardens (Ontario)

Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) is headquartered in Burlington and also include lands in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. It is one of the major tourist attractions between Niagara Falls and Toronto, as well as a significant local and regional horticultural, education, conservation, and scientific resource. On 31 July 2006, Royal Botanical Gardens was selected as the National Focal Point for the Global strategy for plant conservation (GSPC) by Environment Canada.
